For this concept, the client is a growing life insurance agency named "Red Sun". They seek to help clients save money with their insurance plans and help them save for the future. Red Sun wants to expand their business attempts to reach a wider market.
The client wants a new logo, a stationary suite, and three different ads in different dimensions so they can reach more potential clients.
Deciding to start on the logo, I was inspired by how the sun can look red briefly during the sunrise and sunset. I pictured what the sun looks like on the horizon and made the logo depicting the top half of a sun, as if it was in the middle of rising or setting. I also used three different shades of red for depth, but otherwise I kept the logo simple.
The red also helps the brand come off as confident, as red is more of a stronger, intense color when it comes to logos.
There are alternate versions of the logo for use on different colored backgrounds as well.
With the logo finished I moved on to the stationary suite. There are a lot of elements to it, ranging from books, to binders, envelopes, buttons, and more. Having alternate versions of the logo helped out here, due to different pieces of the stationary suite having light or dark backgrounds. Some pieces of the suite like the envelopes and books were made to go with the logo's colors as well.
With the stationary suite done, it was time to put together the ads. Aiming to create ads for three different dimensions, I chose a two rectangular dimensions (horizontal and vertical), as well as an ad similar to the dimensions of a tablet. I first looked for three royalty-free images that would be a good fit for an insurance ad, prioritizing happy, smiling people.
Now that I had the images, I searched for three different stock images of ad mock-ups that I could use, once again looking for three different dimensions. Once I found them, I edited them and the images together and made three simple ads using a the logo and small amounts of other elements like text and similar shades of red to the logo.
